Voting Question: Travelling to Australia?

Hi. I am going to Australia in mid March. Geelong to be exact. I am visiting a friend for 3 weeks. I will be flying into Melbourne, and then going to Geelong for approx 10 days. After that I was thinking of seeing other places. However, I am looking for advice on things that I definitely have to see. Keeping in mind, my return flight is from Melbourne, and I don't want to spend a small fortune on other flights, since I'm already paying a hefty fee from Canada. I am willing to spend a couple hundred dollars on domestic flights. I am also going to try and convince my friend to travel with me. (And he is on a tight budget)....any answers, or feedback is appreciated. I'm even willing to go somewhere by train, or rent a car.... read more
